Honestly, some people make such a fuss. Forum != Game
People unhappy with ccp's development direction != Targets of moderation.
I once was like you and defended ccp vigelently. Then one day I woke up and realized ccp is playing a rather risky game of maximum profits.
Do you really want to see your personal investment of the game via your monthly subs going to other project that either have nothing to do with eve(world of darkness) or a project that has only the most basic of ties to eve(dust) trying to break into an oversaturated market?
I want every single cent I pay to eve to be put on eve development because I only care about eve.
I do not care about vampires or yet another console shooter in a market literally drowning in console shooters.

They are a business, they use the cash cow to expand. Just like every business before, and every business to come.
Pointless rage is pointless.
So your advice is to bend over and take it?
ROFLMFAO!!!!!!
Hope you have plenty of anal lube mate. Originally by: Evil Afoot
Why is it nearly every post supporting CCP the OP "forgets" to post with their main or any character that's in a corp.
Just an observation...
I don't think they are CCP alt's just peeps trolling or afraid that their point isn't validated by others.
Eve is a very vindictive game. Posting with your main however right it might be can have devastating effects because your leaders are trying to be political instead of truthful.

Your point is totally valid dude, however we are talking about the new forums here not politics. If you can't post with your main about that well then your either scared, trolling or both.
At least put your poster alt into a "funnily named corp" and have an awesome forum sig. oh wait.....
I'm not really sure what the picture and text to the left of the content of a post has to do with the validity of a post.
Unless you are looking for an ingame target.

Do you have any clue as to how a business works? Apparently not. Smart businesses are constantly evolving and looking for new markets and new customers. The alternative would be stagnation and eventual death of the business. Oh, and it's also very common practice for businesses to fund their expansion into new markets by (surprise!) using profits of their current products.
Your comments about CCP using Eve profits only for Eve development make as much sense as saying, "I just bought a Cadillac and I don't want GM using the money I paid to fund anything for Chevrolet, Buick, Vauxhall, Opel or Holden! Screw those people! They don't mean squat to me."
Maybe you should return and comment after you learn a little basic business theory (or ask your parents to explain it to you).
Also, vigilant is the correct spelling of the word you massacred.
So you are saying that if your cadillac's door fell off after a couple of months of use and the engine was smoking because of ill funded development you would be totally ok with this?
I'm sure Hilmar is laughing his fat arse off reading this thread.

I see you and the common ostrich have much in common.
Cuz otherwise you just look like another bot from the Drone Regions?
Anyway back on topic, new forums suck etc.....
So because I want to avoid uninformed retaliation I should as you say 'post with my main' and have the idiots and ******ed hound me for telling the truth?
Forum alts are eve's witness protection program so sorry if you can't greif me ingame for upsetting your invalid world view.

Originally by: Evil Afoot The truth No, your opinion Yes.
You should be accountable for that in-game and here on the forums, why not?
Alas too many people like to hide behind curtain while voicing their opinion.
The truth is self evident. Don't blame patriots for wanting to survive to fight the next battle.

Did I say they were?
Originally by: Tokyo Rose I once was like you and defended ccp vigelently.
You were once like me? Really? Is that an inverted way of suggesting that one day I will become like you and see the light? Don't you think you're being a bit hopeful there? I defended ccp vigilantly? Where? I think you should read my short post again. It's not a long post you know. I suspect you added your own unique interpretation to the first line. Never mind - chin up.

I'm not sure I see how this follows on from my post - you appear to have imagined an argument that wasn't being made.
*sigh*
Keep on paying ccp for a game that is unfinished and will continue to be unfinished for a rather long time to come.
Your loss not mine.

Umm, what? You also fail at logic. You've raised what we adults call a non-sequitur. It's an old Latin phrase that means "it does not follow" or "it makes no sense". My argument and your illogical response have nothing to do with one another. If my new Caddy was defective I'd take it in to the dealer to have it repaired under warranty. That has nothing to do with your argument of telling GM to only use profits derived from one division to remain in that division, or for development breakthroughs made at one division to remain solely within that division.
Your correct analogy would be that if I was unhappy with my Caddy to keep quiet and just enjoy my broken vehicle. That's not what I'm saying at all. If people feel there's a problem with Eve of course they should say so. People like Tippia have been doing so for years. The difference is that they have a grasp on reality and can make a reasonable argument backed by fact, whereas you cannot.
Don't fret though, it's nothing that a few years of actually paying attention in class and reading a few books can't cure.
So in your convoluted logic you are saying that new content that is actually only a bare framework of content with empty promises of an eventual fleshing out is just ok with you?
No wonder major(or even minor nowadays) corporations get away with what they do..
